Aiming to expand Kerala's global potential in the health sector
Kochi, 26th August 2024: The 6th Global Ayurveda Summit and the 11th Kerala Health Tourism Edition will be held at Angamaly Adlux International Convention Center, Ernakulam on 29th and 30th August 2024. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the summit online. AYUSH Secretary Rajesh Kotecha IAS, Kerala Tourism Secretary Biju KIAS and Maldives Minister of State for Health Ahmed Ghazim will be present.
The Chairman of the Global Ayurveda Summit Dr. Saji Kumar said in a press conference. Said. Sri Lanka, Maldives, Poland, France, Bangladesh, Oman, UAE, Tanzania, Switzerland, Russia, Nigeria, Taiwan, Singapore, Kenya, Mauritius, Togo, Somalia and Yemen will be present in the two-day summit. Kerala is becoming a top destination in global health tourism. On this occasion, Kerala Healthcare Panel Co-Convenor Dr. VP Lewis said. The summit is organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry in collaboration with the State Government, Central Government and Ministry of AYUSH.
It is a time when the ancient healing system of Ayurveda is recognized and respected globally. The summit will provide an opportunity for those interested to utilize the many opportunities of Ayurveda and its innumerable future possibilities to exchange ideas and provide an opportunity for their entrepreneurial ideas. The theme of the summit is to mainstream Ayurveda through branding, research, artificial intelligence and startups.
Around 80 exhibitors and 3000 trade visitors will attend the summit. Representatives from various countries will also participate in the two-day summit.
The summit will be a meeting place for experts, thinkers and leaders. He added that the summit will discuss many possibilities such as value tourism in medicine, innovation of Ayurveda, research, start-up opportunities and global market for Ayurvedic products.
There will be discussions on two days on various topics such as the protection of Kerala's health sector and the expansion of Medica value travel, future possibilities of patient care, efforts to improve the quality of health care in hospitals, insurance related issues in the health sector.
