The Port of Antwerp in collaboration with The Sea Food Exporters Association, The Cochin Chamber of Commerce and Industry and The Federation of Indian Export Organisations,is organizing a discussion for Indian sea food exporters to Europe on Monday, 3rd December at the Trident hotel in Kochi.

Over the years, Antwerp Port has seen a significant growth in reefer consignments due to Antwerp's hub function for perishables: the growing number of shipping connections with West Africa, South America and the Levant, the Port acting as the first port of call in Western Europe for these services, additional storage capacity, investments in value-added services for cold storage and handling by the specialist logistics service providers and innovative, sustainable transport solutions. Ms. Malini Dutt – India Representative of Antwerp Port Authority will thus showcase the Port of Antwerp as an optimal supply chain solution provider in Europe.Alex Ninan – President, Sea Food Exporters Association in Kerala region will also address the gathering and along with other exporters discuss about the supply chain issues impacting Indian seafood exports. The session will also provide the opportunity for participants to hear firsthand from Mr. Ben Van Wolput - Managing Director of Antwerp Cold Stores, the Antwerp/Europe expert and also amongst one of the main value-added service providers for sea food at the Port of Antwerp.
